Capitola is an appealing coastal resort town on the Monterey Bay of California. This watercolor puts you on the sunny deck of Zelda's Restaurant in the village right on the beach. You are watching the sailboats arriving from Santa Cruz Harbor to spend a fun day at the wharf and beach and perhaps to attend the reknown Capitola Art and Wine Festival. This painting is one of four by Capitola Art and Wine artists who collaborated to do the festival poster for the year 2000.
