The beach and village of Capitola, a VW bus, the fan palms next to the bandstand and the tiki which was the center of controversy during an election year. When it finally had permission to be installed legally I decided to paint it for a poster submission and it was chosen for the Capitola Art and Wine poster for 2009. Four days after I turned in the painting for the poster the tiki was stolen and has not been recovered.
